Like you can't control your paraphilias, but being no contact and trying to avoid putting yourself in harmful situations is good but I wouldn't say their paraphilias are valid bc that could be seen as an endorsement for pedophilia/zoophilia/necrophilia etc. But yeah I agree that paraphiles get hated on too much bc they're mostly mentally ill and traumatized bc paraphilias are kinda like disorders and we should normalize giving ppl with paraphilias mental help. /sincere
