This is a more serious topic so I’ll be using less kaomojis and cutesy stuff since it’s a genuine problem. If you didn’t know, there’s a lot of people that are taking advantage of the sites anonymity so they can spread people’s personal information. The definition of d0xxing is basically when someone stalks another person so they can distribute their personal info online. This has been happening on here a lot lately with the whole mapleshade situation and just in general. A lot of people go on here and d0x their ab#sers. A lot of people defend this type of d0xxing but it’s not excusable. I do understand why people do it but it’s really not the right thing to do. It encourages other people to do it because it makes it seem okay. Yes, a lot of the people that are being d0xxed are awful people but it’s still not okay or justified. I do not sympathise with these people at all but it’s still problematic to d0x them. D0xxing is also a crime and you could go to jail for it if the police find out you’re the one doing it. I also saw a d0x of someone infamous, I know it’s easy to find but I don’t want to say who still. This person is awful and I hate them but they still should not be d0xxed. D0xxing bad people normalises d0xxing which makes it seem more acceptable for people who don’t deserve it.
